A familiar sight for anyone working in the care sector: the cards with procedures sticking out of the pockets of many white coats. But the question we face is which cards do staff actually carry with them and do they still have the correct version of the card.
The MyMedicards app answers these questions! Using an easy to operate content management system (CMS), every organisation can now incorporate their own quality procedures in the app.
When up-dates are available, you can install them immediately and everyone will be up to date again. You can also send a push notification to each member of staff to notify them of an important change or addition.
Various card layouts
The app allows for seven different card layouts: text, text with illustrations, text with video, text across multiple tab pages, photo album, calculations and step-by-step plans.

The idea to use the app at VieCuri was first suggested as a way to support staff preparing for the JCI accreditation. Because of this accreditation, several new agreements and protocols were introduced. As a means to help staff work according to these new agreements, the app is a very useful tool. People can use the app before, during or after the performance of a task.
The app is currently being run as a pilot. During the Congrestival of the eHealth team at VieCuri the idea to launch this app was one of the award-winning applications. After Interactive Studios were found willing to cooperate with us, we were able to launch the app almost immediately during JCI kick-off meetings. Downloads of the app started almost immediately because staff saw the potential of the app as a support tool which can at all times be consulted during work. The initial reactions were overwhelmingly positive; staff find it an easy-to-use, attractive app. Within a year, we also received several applications for additional support cards: staff see the benefits of the app almost immediately!
The maintenance and management of the app is very easy and user-friendly. The system behind the app can be easily enlarged or modified. The dashboard provides good quantitative information about how to use the app. The support by Interactive Studios is customer-friendly: they are willing to think along and advise you and answer all your questions as quickly as possible.

The licence fees of the MyMedicards app are based on the number of cards offered in the app. There will be a monthly surcharge based on the number of users.
